2011 Huested Calendar
(20% off SALE)
One of the jewels of our museum is a collection of over 15,000 glass plate negatives donated to us in the 1940s by the Huested Portrait Studio. Herbert Huested was a prolific photographer of life in Jefferson County during the late 19th- and early 20th centuries. His portraiture gives historians a unique view into what life was like in the area during that time period.
In honor of this magnificent collection, the Jefferson County Historical Society is proud to present our 2011 Huested glass plate negative calendar. Titled “Jefferson County through Huested’s Lens” the calendar features a selection of twelve never-before exhibited photographs developed from the original Huested negatives.
Each calendar is now priced at only $8 + plus shipping & handling with 100% of the profits going to benefit the museum collections. Celebrate the New Year with the Jefferson County Historical Society Calendar. Available for sale at the museum gift shop (telephone orders accepted.)
